A Visit to High School Inc.

April 2016

In April, Marlene Espinoza, Katie Phillips & Jim Finlay volunteered at High School Inc, in Hartford CT, to help students enhance their job interviewing skills. For 3 interactive hours, our staff & recruiters worked alongside individuals from other companies conducting mock interviews with students.

This 3 hour session helped students improve their delivery and communication with the interviewer. We were pleased to be able to help prepare these students for today’s job market.

Donation-Drive for My Sister’s Place

March 2016

For the entire month of March, our office ran a donation-drive for My Sister’s Place. My Sister's Place is part of an interactive community committed to eradicating domestic violence. They provide safe and confidential emergency shelter and transitional-to-permanent housing to battered women and their children.

Our reps and staff brought in items such as toys, books, gently used women’s clothes, and baby items to add to our drop box. By the end of the month, our drop box was overflowing with items to give to the organization! We concluded our campaign with a Jeans Day and had our employees bring in a pack of diapers to wear their favorite jeans for the day.
